Sezzana Toscana Sangiovese IGT

Structured, persuasive, persistent

After 12 long years in the cellar and made only in the best vintages, Sezzana, our most historic vineyard, gives us a wonderful expression of Sangiovese. On the nose it shows hints of violet and ripe cherries as well as leather and sweet spices. In the mouth it is well-structured, with soft and persuasive tannins and a persistent finish.

Vinification

Maceration and alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled vats for an average period of 14-15 days. Malolactic fermentation done in French oak barrels, of which 20% is new and the remaining in used oak (2nd passage)followed by 24 months of aging. Finally, bottle-aged for at least 100 months.
