Vinification
Maceration and alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled vats for an average period of 14-15 days. Malolactic fermentation done in French oak barrels, in which 20% new and the remaining second passage, following with 20-22 months of aging. Finally, bottle-aged for about 6 months.

A Riserva Barbaresco Starderi is made from a selection of the best grapes and is aged at least 10 years. About 400 magnums of Barbaresco Riserva Starderi are produced every year.
